They are both capitals; La Paz is the official capital. Sucre is the people's capital.

Sucre is the capital of Bolivia, not La Paz

There is a wrong “fun fact”…Bolivia's capital is not La Paz, its the place where are the goverments, but the oficial capital of Bolivia is Sucre.
